Face Drawings by Meghan

This week the Senior Art Studio did an excercise in drawing faces. Looking at their partner they first did a drawing (drawings listed #1 on the top of the paper) the way they would normally draw someone. Then for drawing #2 (those listed #2 at the top of the paper), they were not allowed to look at the paper while they drew and they tried to keep the pen on the paper for the whole time. This was their blind contour drawing. For drawings listed #3, they were instructed to keep their pen on the paper but were allowed to take it off for eyes and mouths, and were allowed to glance at the paper as needed. Following that we did an excercise in facial proportions. We had a fun time! These are Meghan's drawings of Alanna. Excellent work!
